Keith Brooks

Keith Brooks 15_8015-resizedA native of Louisville, Kentucky, Keith brings a deep personal and professional commitment to transformational change and communications. Keith previously worked as a co-coordinator for the Fairness Campaign, a Louisville-based human rights organization with a dual focus on LGBT equality and racial justice, where he gained experience in grassroots advocacy and strategic communications. Keith also spent two years as a Communications Specialist with the Louisville Downtown Partnership, where he oversaw the organization’s website and social media presence, and managed all of its print and digital communications pieces. In September 2014, he moved to New York City and became Communications Associate at ALIGN: The Alliance for a Greater New York, a local affiliate of Jobs with Justice, where oversaw a website redesign, managed content and digital strategy, and led communications campaigns on economic and environmental justice.

Keith graduated summa cum laude from the University of Kentucky in 2007 with a B.A. in print journalism, focusing on art studio and holds a certificate in Data Visualization from New York University’s Stern School of Business. In his spare time, Keith is a karate student at Traditional Okinawan Karate of Brooklyn and enjoys undertaking extreme travel adventures, studying various languages and any excuse to sing karaoke.
